Queer Poets Robyn Bateman and Meg Waldron Perform Tonight at Homolatte

Robyn Bateman and Meg Waldron have begun their nationwide tour with a brief stop here in Chicago. While the prospect of checking out some out-of-town traveling poets might seem daunting to the uninitiated, their blend of blatant sexual references peppered with intellectual wit will be enough to put you at ease.

Be sure to check out their high-energy performance tonight at the queer music and spoken word series titled Homolatte. Admission is free, but bring cash for the pass-the-hat (proceeds will go to the artists). Enter through Big Chicks into Tweet, located on 5024 N Sheridan Rd.

About Tina

A transplant from the snow and mountains of Upstate NY (why, yes, there IS an entire state above NYC!), Tina moved to Chicago in 2005. Since then, she’s taken full advantage of Chicago’s sports scene, participating in rugby, volleyball, and hockey – just to name a few. Her first love, however, is soccer. She's proud to have participated in both the 2006 and 2010 Gay Games as well as the 2009 Out Games. In addition to sports, Tina enjoys traveling (she tries to cross the atlantic at least once a year). Tina is a ‘Jackie of all trades’, so prepare for the unexpected!
