Since forming in the late 90’s, Ladytron has released five studio albums. Ladytron was started by Liverpudlian keyboardists/programmers Daniel Hunt and Reuben Wu. The group really took shape after Scottish Helen Marnie (lead vocals / synthesizers) and Bulgarian Mira Aroyo (vocals/synthesizers) joined. Hunt and Wu met the two while DJing around the world. The group’s moniker is a nod to the song “Ladytron” by English art-rockgods Roxy Music. Roxy member Brian Eno returned the love in 2009, calling them “the best of English pop music.” – MTV IGGY
