The Sky, Chicago’s WNBA team, play fast paced, exciting technically exquisite basketball. During the game, dads and daughters alike, shoot from their seats cheering for the team. It feels good to be a team’s “sixth man”. In consideration of Pride week the Sky wanted to participate and invite members of the GLBT community, along with their family and friends, to a game to celebrate.
The Chicago Sky and the Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association (CMSA) have partnered up and scheduled a Family Pride game. The game is set for Thursday, June 23, when the Connecticut Sun will be in town. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. CMSA has reserved a block of 250 tickets for the game at a discounted rate. The Sky have a number of perks for our ticket holders.
Those who purchase their tickets before Midnight on Sunday June 19th will receive an opportunity to participate in the Sky’s pre-game High Five Tunnel. Stand on either side of the tunnel cheering on and hi-fiving the players as the enter the court. 16 people who purchase the tickets through CMSA will be chosen to participate. Names will be drawn June 20th and you will be contacted with details on how to participate.
All who purchase a ticket through CMSA also will receive a second free ticket to another regular-season Sky game. There will be an in-game raffle, held specifically for CMSA, and one person will receive a Sky autographed item. Plus, one person will win two courtside seats for a regular-season Sky game of their choice (based on availability).
