Oh Chicago weather, you are such a bitch. This back and forth between hot, cold and torrential downpour has got my lungs and sinuses totally screwed. I hope your bodies are in better shape than mine and that you’ll be able to celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or Cinco de Drinko, as I like to think of it) with a nice run and then let the drinks fly.
The second week of the Couch to 5k program has us starting with a five minute walking warm-up and following with 90 seconds of jogging, 2 minutes of walking and repeating the jogging and running for twenty minutes. You should do this routine three times this week and when you’re feeling like it, move on to week 3. Remember, go at your own pace and if you need to slow down, you should always go at your own pace.
