Angelina’s is always a fun place to go for brunch. You cannot beat their $21 Champagne brunch. With unlimited Mimosas, good music, and great tasting food, you cannot beat that price. The place is always packed. So it’s best to make a reservation or go early. Go with a group of friends or with just you and that special someone. Either way, you’ll definitely have a good time.

In my opinion, going southern is the best way to brunch in America. Big Jones has the most delicious cornbread on the north side of Chicago. Order the ginger beer if like me, you don’t have a sweet tooth. The fried green tomatoes are the best in town. And for your entree, order the shrimp and grits. You won’t regret it.

The Flower Flat Cafe is an adorable little hidden gem in Lakeview. It’s located inside of a flower shop and it’s really quaint and charming. I think it only seats 15 people total so I would recommend getting there early on the weekend. Everything I’ve eaten so far has been amazing and the wait staff is incredibly attentive. And on your way out you can buy some fresh flowers for your apartment. What could be more perfect?!

I know it is cliché –but I love Taste of Heaven – the coffee is amazing and the breakfast breads and sandwiches are freaking delicious….besides that –the folks behind the counter are friendly and always feeding me free samples!!

It’s located right in Uptown (next to Big Chicks) and is delicious! Make sure to get the hash browns extra crispy – they are out of this world!!! On weekend’s it gets pretty crowded, but the food is worth the wait, plus they send you over to the bar at Big Chicks to get Mimosas and Blood Mary’s!
